Donald Trump Attacks Megyn Kelly On Twitter, Refuses To Apologize

His latest target, for instance, include his opponents for the Republican slate, and once again he chose to fire at Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Trump was on Twitter less than 15 minutes later to remind Kelly what he thinks of her, tweeting, “The bimbo back in town”. The controversial candidate added that hopefully in the future she proves him wrong and elevates to a level of professionalism that the channel deserves.

Maybe his remarks could have been just the tonic the campaign needs, had it not been for his over-the-top criticism of Megyn Kelly.

Cruz said Sunday, on CBS’ “Face the Nation“, that “birthright citizenship as a policy matter doesn’t make sense” and, earlier in his exchange with Kelly on Tuesday, said that lawmakers should examine whether the Constitution must be altered. People who don’t respect her because she works at Fox are missing her skill, as well as the point. Her questioning of Mr. Trump at the debate was tough but fair, and I fully support her as she continues to ask the probing and challenging questions that all presidential candidates may find hard to answer.

Ailes himself acknowledged he probably shouldn’t hold his breath waiting for that apology: Trump said it had been so long since he’d said he was sorry to anyone that he couldn’t even remember when that was.

On Wednesday, Trump, who is married, swore off any crush, saying the feud is strictly professional.
