The one where Taylor Swift and Lisa Kudrow sing ‘Smelly Cat’
Swift introduced her next co-performer as some one who had only performed at coffee shops before and behold, out came Lisa Kudrow (but don’t we prefer to call her Phoebe!) along with her guitar.
The unexpected duet certainly thrilled the crowd, who happily sang along, as well as capturing the moment on video. “She’s never played in a big venue like this”. “So @taylorswift13 is THE best person I’ve ever met”, said Kudrow after the show, via Twitter.
A number of the Bad Blood singer’s friends were in the audience for her last LA show, including Reese Witherspoon, Alessandra Ambrosio and Ruby Rose.
Fans got an extra treat when Timberlake appeared on-stage for a duet of his 2013 hit single Mirrors with Swift. Thanks Taylor, ‘ wrote Lisa.
But Kudrow wasn’t the only friend Swift had lined-up to help her close the 1989 World Tour. The whole thing is a pretty great surpriseso great, in fact, that it even overshadowed the fact that Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez also popped up during the concert on Wednesday.
“This has been so hard to keep a secret”. Justin hasn’t performed since he became a dad, and I’m just so honored that this was his first performance back.
Taylor opted to flash her toned abs in a white crop top, while Selena chose to flaunt her cleavage with a plunging neckline. (That’s right, Uzo is a two-time 1989 World Tour-er.) At the time, Taylor tweeted that Uzo “provoked one of the loudest screams from the crowd I’ve EVER heard”.
According toVariety, some of the other famous faces that have joined her onstage have included Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Alanis Morissette, Ellen DeGeneres, and Kobe Bryant.
