Regular New 3DS coming to North America on Se
This was announced at the GameStop Manager’s Conference, though thankfully there’s no mention of that bundle being an exclusive to the retailer.
Initially it’ll just be released as part of a special Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundle; this’ll include a white system, the game, two cover plates and an amiibo card for a recommended price of $219.99.
As for a new version of the XL, there will also be a Hyrule Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL system, which will launch exclusively in GameStop stores on October. 30 for $199.99. It will be available on september 25 to coincide with the standalone game’s launch.
The previous game in the mainstream Animal Crossing series was Animal Crossing: New Leaf, released back in 2012 for Nintendo 3DS.
New Nintendo 3DS incorporates all the same enhanced features as the New Nintendo 3DS XL system, including a wider range of controls, face-tracking 3D and built-in NFC functionality that allows for communication with amiibo figures.
