Toon Zone News: The Legend Returns In This Week’s Nintendo Download
“I felt it was necessary to communicate that Nintendo is not pessimistic about the future of the dedicated game system business but rather more and more eager to continue it”, Iwata said, explaining why he first mentioned NX’s existence to the media.
For those that missed Nintendo’s E3 2015 coverage, “Star Fox Zero” is, in many ways, a response to those that criticize the usefulness of the Wii U’s GamePad controller. Unfortunately, their Virtual Console has always been a pretty lackluster way of bringing these games to the owners of their later consoles, and only in the latter portion of the Wii U’s life cycle did they appear to make a concerted effort to change that around.
At a recent investor call, Miyamoto expressed concern over what he saw of the technology at this year’s E3, saying developers were showing “dream-like” and non-playable demos whose commercial viability and release windows were unclear. Since Nintendo wants to “cherish” the value of software, there’s a limit to how low a price it wants to attach to its upcoming mobile games.

Nintendo made a promise before E3 that it wouldn’t release any information about the NX until 2016. The report also said that it is unlikely that a company will release the new gaming device just six months after it was announced since the normal debut of any console usually offers a preview of the product before the holiday season prior to the actual release date.
Miyamoto went on to express a bit of criticism of the competition.
The gaming-oriented giant seriously needs to come up with something new and revolutionary in order to just challenge Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One, let alone surpass them. There are also new Ace Attorney menu themes to download as well. “I have participated in a number of media interviews, and the comments from reporters also attest this impression”.
YouTube user “hyberes56” uploaded the video, titled “Nintendo Cross (NX) hardware concept reveal” at some point on June 30. But the company says it is aware of that. Survival horror fans can dig their teeth into the polarizing ZombiU, while Nintendo Land provides a fun multiplayer, party-style experience. If their games end up being too aggressive with their monetization, Nintendo can expect very little success aside from the “whales” throwing money at them.
The big question though is what games would be ready on launch? Nintendo will make the games while DeNA will be doing the publishing.
“There was a lot of excitement from the visitors and the contenders [for this event]”, said Iwata.
I hope you’ve a salt cellar handy, because this report should only be taken with a hefty pinch of salt, if not several handfuls of the white stuff.
