MTV VMAs: Watch Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj open the show
Stars are hitting the red carpet for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, which honor the best in the music industry.
One thing we do know for sure is Taylor looks incredible in her latest video.
“Can y’all please explain how or why the Taylor Swift fart could have been faked please I trust you“. After Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” wasn’t nominated for Video of the Year, the rapper spoke up on Twitter about the way black women’s contributions to popular culture are sometimes ignored by the media.
First up, Taylor Swift went for a striking, futuristic twist on her signature classic cat eye – with sharp lines drawn all the way to the inner corners of her eyes.
The video, released two days ago (August 30), is heavy on romantically-tinged old-school African scenes, featuring a hefty backdrop of wild animals and Swift starring in a passionate romance. That’s what it seemed to turn into Sunday night when a flatulent sound erupted through the microphone as Taylor Swift was announcing her new music video for “Wildest Dreams“. He’ll be joined on the broadcast by Pharrell, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky, Twenty One Pilots, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. The network is offering the All Access Live Stream option for fans to watch the show online from their computers and mobile phones.
Who is this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award?
There was also a deluge of 21.4 million tweets about the show, the most for any program this year except for the Super Bowl.
