O’Brien has emerged as a popular figure on the HBO series “Hard Knocks” as much for his intense, straightforward coaching style as the language that matches it. There were tears, trades, cuts and a cancer survivor, David Quessenberry, finding out on his birthday he’s still a year away from returning to football. “I’m on bonus time now”. The amount of the donation will be based on how many times he swears on the show.
Well, obviously there seems to be a high volume of cursing on the Texans roster.
Perhaps the best part is that the 33-year-old veteran kept his “fashion statement” on for the team’s walkthrough. “Like I said, I think it’s how you are portrayed”.
The team found it hilarious, even before Coach Bill O’Brien knew what was going on.

Wilfork showed up to the Texans facility wearing blue overalls, a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, and nothing else.
The season finale of “Hard Knocks” airs Tuesday, September 8 at 9 p.m. Connecticut on HBO. “You’re good inside linebacker – you like what you got?”
