Chipotle Delivery Service Coming to Towson University
Chipotle reigns supreme over most fast food places, but don’t get too ahead of yourself by ordering nachos all day, every day: if you’re stuck on a meal plan, you may have to suck it up and eat a few non-Chipotle meals a week.
Chipotle will be delivering food to students at 40 college campuses by this fall.
Delivery is now available at six campuses.
Chipotle offers delivery through partnerships in Order Up, in smaller markets including Columbia, Missouri, and big cities like Nyc.
“Chipotle has been popular with students going back to our very first restaurant near the University of Denver, and we are always looking for ways to better engage with them”, said Mark Crumpacker, chief creative and development officer at Chipotle. “That shared acceptance among younger customers made them a great choice for us to expand delivery aimed specifically at students”.
“Tapingo has become the purchase button for pupils and we’re excited to expand into surrounding regions”, Daniel Almog, Tapingo CEO, said in a statement.
“It’s good food”, Nicholas, a senior, said.
The Mexican food joint to which students flock after lengthy study sessions and before insane daylongs will, in the near future, bring its heavily-stuffed burritos, hearty bowls, and creamy (albeit extra) guac right to your door.
The delivery company said there will be a $2.99 service charge for each Chipotle order.
