GoPro Releases New Trim And Share Feature For App And HERO Cameras
This is done via the “Trim” button which can be found in the camera and on the GoPro app that will allow users to trim videos down to 1 second, 15 seconds, or 30 seconds.
To help us overcome this difficulty, GoPro has added a new feature that let us make clips of the desired moment immediately. GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO)’s new feature intends to address the need for creating videos that are short and sweet.
From there, it’s just a matter of saving and sharing the video through any of your preferred channels, be it via social media orto another device. In addition, the Companys remote control solutions and its seamless integration with mobile devices through the GoPro App, its mobile application, enable engaging self-capture during virtually any activity.
Short videos continue to gain traction in networking platforms such as Vine and Instagram. This is the feature to look out for if you would wish to share a snippet of a long footage with a link on the side for the full footage on YouTube.
On-camera trimming can be done on the HERO4 Black with LCD BacPac, HERO4 Silver, and HERO+ LCD.
Currently, if you want to edit and post a video you shot with your GoPro, you either have to use a third-party video app on your phone and go through several steps to get it into said app, or wait until you have a chance to sit down at your computer or pull out your laptop.
Press the new Trim icon in playback mode and select the 5, 15, or 30-second playback option.
It will severely trim down on time and data usage, as there will no longer be a need to transfer the entire video in order to share with others. The share price can be expected to fluctuate from the mean short term target, can be seen from the standard deviation reading of $5.18.
