Euro-spec Hyundai i20 Active unveiled ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show
At the Frankfurt global Motor Show 2015 Hyundai Motor is showcasing the passion of its brand, with new models, visionary concept cars and innovative technologies.
This is the European-specification (likely to carry a 2016MY tag) of what Hyundai calls the Santa Fe Sport with seating for five in North America, but if not all, most of what you see here will be present on the 2017MY on this side of the Atlantic.
The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe will debut at this month’s Frankfurt motor show with a host of new active safety and convenience features and some subtle design tweaks ahead of its Australian introduction in the final quarter of this year.
It is not only Hyundai Motor’s continued advancement as a primary competitor in the WRC that forms a base for the N sub-brand, but also the company’s dedication and investment to create striking and pioneering high-performance cars.
Euro-spec Hyundai i20 Active is expected to go on sale in the continent early next year. The Korean carmaker just revealed the new i20 Active for Europe, “a rugged crossover for urban adventure” (that is, pothole avoiding procedures) coming to extend the i20 lineup.
Hyundai Australia says it will begin introducing Android Auto to its vehicle range in 2016.
Moreover, we’ll also have a chance to meet the G Vision prototype in the metal, and ultimately get a glimpse at what Hyundai is preparing for the future in terms of design and technology. New features such as a sweeping touch screen display with a curved screen add sophistication to the calm, high-quality interior.
Hyundai Motor’s press conference will take place in Hall 6 at 11:30 CET on Tuesday 15 September 2015.
