Sarah Palin’s subscription web channel going offline

Less than a year after launching her subscription-based online media venture “The Sarah Palin Channel”, the ex- half-term governor of Alaska and failed 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate has decided to do away with subscription fees and give her fans free the incoherent videos they’ve come to love. The 288-page hardcover – available for pre-order now for $19.99 – will “point the reader to the bedrock of the Bible for answers to the pressing issues of our time”, including “economics, debt, social justice, marriage, parenting and human trafficking, to pro-life, adoption, education and taxation”. “I really look forward to continuing to hear your ideas and your dreams and your solutions for America”.

SarahPalinChannel.com, which was launched a year ago, will no longer charge subscribers to view content starting August 1. A spokesman for the public relations firm representing TAPP said the company doesn’t disclose subscription numbers and wishes Palin well. The professional divorce, first reported in Politico, was described as amicable. Palin made the announcement on July Fourth on the website, Mediaite is reporting.

But only a few months after she left Fox, she rejoined the network as a contributor.
