Lenovo launches new ThinkPad and Desktop PCs for small business
This new 12.5-inch convertible notebook is the first Yoga to ship with an LTE model, allowing owners to connect to the internet on the go.
It sports flexible ports, including three USB3, one HDMI and a Gigabit Ethernet for easier remote access and management.
Lenovo claims that the ThinkPad E-Series, available with 14-inch and 15.6-inch anti-glare displays, offers remarkable performance, exceptional mobility and outstanding features for small business users.
Lenovo has unveiled a wave of new PCs aimed at business and consumer customers, including updates to its trusted ThinkPad range and a device based on Intel’s latest processor platform that could be a strong rival to Microsoft’s Surface tablet. They are powered by Intel’s Skylake processors, feature AMD Radeon discrete graphics, and promise up to nine hours of battery life.
Some of the options include discrete graphics, up to 16GB of memory, solid state storage, fingerprint security, and an Intel RealSense 3D camera (specific to the ThinkPad E560).
Additionally, Lenovo offers a wide selection of warranty upgrades and services. Again, details are light at the moment, but we know the AIOs will include 19.5-inch, 21.5-inch, and 23-inch Full HD display options with optional touch support. The Lenovo S500 is a small factor PC, while the S200 is a tower, offering users with versatile performance and flexibility.
Lenovo is planning to release the ThinkPad Yoga 260 in the US in November priced from $949, while the ThinkPad Yoga 460 will be available slightly earlier in October priced from $1049.
Like the new laptops, the updated AIO and tower desktops will use the latest AMD and Intel processors. Both Lenovo S series and S200/S500 are expected to hit retail in select markets by the end of the fourth quarter.
An even more accurate and rechargeable ThinkPad Pen Pro enriches the Windows 10 experience and combined with the Lenovo WRITEit application, revolutionizes the way users interact with their ThinkPad Yoga.
There are also the Lenovo E41 and E51 laptops, which have 14in and 15.6in up to full HD displays respectively, and optional fingerprint security, plus the B41 and B51 value for money business machines.
