Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals truth about Arsenal transfer talk and says club
Mino Raiola, agent of Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has revealed that his client was proud to have been pursued by former club AC Milan this summer despite rumours claiming otherwise.
In the end, Milan ended up re-signing Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli on a season-long loan deal.
Although, speculation that Arsenal were considering a move for the Sweden global was rife, Ibrahimovic has dismissed the suggestion that the Premier League side made an approach for his services.
And they were really interested in me from the start. It means I’m still performing.
Whatever happens, Ibra has had one of the most decorated careers of any player, and when his contract expires at PSG there will be plenty of suitors willing to take his signature.
Ibrahimovic didn’t take lightly to being questioned about his business interests outside football and got involved in a battle of words when asked about his perfume line and “Dressmann” clothing connection. Thank goodness we have Sweden and PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to spice things up.
As for talk of retirement, Zlatan was typically Zlatan with his answer: “You’ll know when I stop”.
