Music Composer Aadesh Shrivastava Breathes His Last in Mumbai
Bollywood singer-composer Aadesh Shrivastava, who was battling a relapsed cancer, passed away post midnight in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai. He was 51. Shrivastava had been undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital in Andheri for over 40 days.
“Mr Aadesh Shrivastava (51) expired at 12.30 am on September 5, 2015 in Kokilaben Hospital due to cancer,” Dr Ram Narain of the hospital told PTI.
Shrivastava is survived by his wife, Vijeta Pandit, a former Bollywood actress and sister of music-composer duo Jatin-Lalit, and their two sons – Anivesh and Avitesh.
“Dear buddy Aadesh, I am devastated at hearing about your condition…Can’t come to terms with it. May god help you ease your pain”, tweeted the Rahman. Reports suggest that the financial turmoil is hovering around the family, as they have to spend Rs. Aadesh is said to have recognized him and they shared a warm conversation together. He had also sung his song “Shaava Shaava” of “Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham”. He had successfully fought multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells) when he was diagnosed for the first time in 2010. A source while talking to a portal revealed”, “The Bachchans and Aadesh’s families go back a long way. His situation is bad.
Lalit had earlier informed IANS that regardless of docs making an attempt their greatest to assist Shrivastava overcome his sickness, the remedy remained ineffective on him. “We’re hoping for a miracle”. We are banking on him for the moment. He also added, Lalit Pandit said: “We have decided to consult Dr. Dhonden who is widely know for his ability to cure advanced stages of cancer“.
His wife too told media that the doctors had given up on him.
