Packers place WR Nelson on injured reserve

WR Javess Blue was waived/injured by the Packers Tuesday (Sept. 1) and will be placed on reserve/injured if he clears waivers Wednesday.

If any team had the benefit of watching Hundley on the Packers’ practice field in the off-season or the first few days of training camp, he probably would have been drafted right where he was. “I don’t plan on missing a game”, Cobb told reporters.

“I’m doing everything in my power to get back before (the season opener), but we still don’t know severity”, Cobb said.

Rodgers makes some valid points about the shortcomings of preseason football as have many others, but there doesn’t seem to be much chance of a change as long as NFL owners are collecting money for the tickets, parking and concessions sold at those games.
