Urijah Faber meets Frankie Saenz on UFC 194 undercard
Two critical bouts have been added to UFC 194. Now it will also feature the former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) featherweight titleholder Urijah Faber, who takes on the streaking Frankie Saenz in a 135-pound tilt.
The 36-year-old “California Kid” expressed on numerous occasions that he would like to participate at either “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale on December 12 (December 11 in US) or UFC 194, but he struggled to secure an opponent for the organization’s blockbuster weekend.

Faber, 36, met Frankie Edgar in a featherweight bout in May at UFC Fight Night 66 in the Philippines, but got swept in the judges’ scorecards, losing a unanimous decision.
UFC officials announced the pairing earlier today. The 23-year-old has been impressive in that stretch, stopping five of six before the Oliveira bout dating back to a decision loss against UFC 194 headliner Conor McGregor.
Holloway, 23, earned his seventh consecutive victory last month at UFC Fight Night 74 in Saskatchewan, defeating Charles Oliveira via first-round TKO after “do Bronx” suffered a neck injury.
Saenz (11-2), meanwhile, heads into this bantamweight exchange white hot, having compiled three-straight Octagon victories, bringing his overall win streak to seven. Stephens is the No. 8 ranked featherweight, and a win over Holloway would give a huge boost to his stock. A flying knee capped off a brilliant performance from “Lil’ Heathen”, who kept his status as a featherweight contender alive.
