In August, after years of lobbying, Shell received a controversial permit from the Obama administration that allows the company to drill for oil and gas in the Arctic.
On Wednesday (September 2nd), the 56 year old actress joined with Greenpeace’s ongoing protests, which have lasted a number of weeks, against Shell’s Arctic drilling programme.
The CEO said that his is 110 percent ready to work with people who want to find ways to improve drilling.
