First Agents of SHIELD season 3 trailer teases a threat ‘beyond belief’

The upcoming season is subtitled “Secret Warriors” which is based loosely on the comic book series of the same name from Marvel Comics.

But we do get a little bit of juicy gossip – did you know that The Electric Mayhem’s insane drummer Animal is secretly a SHIELD agent?

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been teasing new challenges for the team for a few months now, including a brand new Inhuman, Lash.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns for an action-packed third season, with Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) leading the charge as S.H.I.E.L.D. searches the world for more powered people in the aftermath of their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans.

The said synopsis has also revealed that there will be a new government agency besides S.H.I.E.L.D. that will deal with inhumans in the form of the unknown ATCU or the Advanced Threat Containment Unit.

The entire clip shows more of S.H.I.E.L.D.as they try to hunt down more of these super-powered creatures.

Coulson assembled a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. That looks a lot like Lash (set to be played by Matthew Willig), a deadly Inhuman who takes it upon himself to judge – and kill, if he deems them unworthy – other Inhuman individuals. However, Coulson and the team soon find out that they are not the only group looking for these new Inhumans.
