Music Composer Aadesh Shrivastava Passes Away

I would say it’s a personal loss to me.

Indiaglitz conveys its deep condolences for the bereaved family and the fans of Aadesh Srivastava and prayers for the departed soul to Rest in Peace.

“Alka Yagnik: “Ab kya Bolun…” Bachchan saab who was very close to Aadesh couldn’t bear to see him in this condition. His fierce fight with the cancer continued in the hospital for nearly past 42 days. Dawaa, Dua… Kuchh Kaam Nahin aaya!

Aadeshji not only composed for a variety of films but had more than one genre to his sound. That’s why I was really sad to hear that he was ill. But his music will live forever.

Aadesh debuted as a music composer in Bollywood with the film “Khatra” that released in 1991. Seeing him fight Cancer with the strength of a Tiger was the most hard thing as one who loved him. When I think of him as healthy and handsome I miss him so much.

“I have worked with Aadesh Srivastav in couple of projects”. But two days after returning from a concert tour in the United States, he started bleeding from the nose and was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital. RIP Aadesh Shrivastav! Remember him wth always a warm smile on his face! The elder one is a talented musician. At the same time his songs had tremendous popular appeal. “I was planning to work with him in my next film”. I thought it’d ring a bell. But he recognized his cop friend and saluted him from his death bed. I know you know Aadesh bhai left us finally after a very fearless battle against the dreaded disease. He was a storehouse of jokes. “Now it’s up to me to make sure Aadesh’s dream for his sons are fulfilled”. He wanted me to write a song for him. Can’t believe he is no more.

He is survived by wife Vijeta Pandit and two sons, Avinesh and Avitesh. He will be missed. “God bless his soul!”

“Sajid-Wajid: “It’s very sad moment for the music industry and personally for me”. I know I’ve to be strong for my sons’ sake. He saw my growth from a guitarist to music composer. I still remember my last meeting with him. “The family was in pain, but the show had to go on”, says an awed Dharmesh, admitting his respect for the man went up manifold that day. A friend an instinctively blessed musician who connected with the people. It’s just unfortunate that we could never complete the project as his health dwindled thereafter and I was informed that he won’t be well soon. Baabul Supriyo flew in from Kolkata to be here when he heard the news. Very few can achieve what he has.

Aadesh, who was known for his huge contribution to the music industry, was critical after the third relapse of cancer, a month ago. After visiting him in the hospital, I find solace in the fact that his suffering has ended.
