Many spectators spotted Tiger Woods in the stands of the U.S. Open this weekend.

 When his parody account “Shooter McGavin” posted it the image went viral thanks to the character’s 277,000 followers.

The pair were enjoying some tennis at the U.S. Open, when McDonald found the 14-time major victor and snapped a rather legendary selfie with him.

No one takes the sport of golf more seriously than fictional golf legend Shooter McGavin, the archvillain of the 1996 Adam Sandler film Happy Gilmore.
