Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Launched: Key Features
Samsung has finally launched its next iteration in the Note series – the Galaxy Note 5 – today in India.
When, last year, Apple chose to go big and ditch the 4-inch formula, it did so by releasing two iPhones at the same time, measuring 4.7 and 5.5-inches.
The Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Note5 blend form and function with industry leading features, including: the best screen technology, the most advanced camera for high quality photos and videos, the latest fast wireless and wired charging, and an incredibly powerful processor.
Samsung has announced the company’s 2nd-gen Galaxy Tab S tablets back in July this year. In India, the Galaxy Tab S2 comes pre-loaded with Galaxy gifts worth Rs 31,000. It is no secret that Samsung has not exactly performed up to par with other devices and chances are the company has done an audit to identify proper regions where their devices should be launched.
This September 20th, Samsung gears up to offer two storage variants, for the Indian public, in the much-in-demand Note series.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 lets users quickly jot down ideas or information even when the screen is off, i.e., without even unlocking the phone.
It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI on the top. Camera consists of a 16MP f1.9 aperture OIS shooter along with a 5MP front snapper.
In terms of battery, the Samsung Galaxy View will use a 5700 mAh power pack, meaning that this could be a device designed for those who are avid Internet users. A Tech Radar report expects the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 to be powered by Intel’s new powerful Skylake chipset and will be available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 500GB storage options, as well as 1TB SSD in the high-end version. Samsung says its new tablets have a battery life of at least 14 hours.
Samsung has also come up with a new $99 keyboard case that clips over the Note 5, transforming giving it a physical keyboard. The camera app can be opened with a double press on the home button, which also bears the fingerprint sensor as well.
