The Leftovers Season 2 Trailer #2
HBO has released the second trailer for season two of The Leftovers, the premium cable drama series created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, based on a Perrotta’s novel of the same name. Television. Lindelof serves as showrunner.
On top of the new revelations teased in the trailer, including the importance of Christopher Eccleston’s character in the new arena of Jarden, Texas, there are pictures of a congregation in Jarden and the welcoming sign for the Texas town.
The poster for “The Leftovers” season two features Kevin floating in the ocean and Nora diving in to save him, reports TVLine.
One of Kevin’s new neighbors is shunned for speaking the truth about “the sudden departure” and it appears to fan the flames of a religious conflict.
The Leftovers Season 2 premieres on Sunday, October 4, at 9 p.m. on HBO. Well, see if you like this new trailer.
With much of the supporting cast cut, Kevin Carroll, Regina King, and Jovan Adepo are joining the regular cast as a Jarden family, the Murphys, who were untouched by the Departure.
The second season of the show will focus on Kevin Garvey and his family finding a new place to start over, following the horrific events that the Guilty Remnant caused last summer.
By the end of the first season finale, the town of Mapleton, New York had almost torn itself apart because of the Guilty Remnant, a cult devoted to making the rest of the world acknowledge that the Rapture happened…whether they wanted to or not!
