Three theaters will roll out red carpets for the premiere of the hugely anticipated “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.
“We’re really disappointed because we are big Star Wars fans, and we were hoping to at least see a little of the celebrities”, said Natalie Arnet, a tourist from Paris.

The original trilogy – Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi – are delightful, thrilling, properly swashbuckling adventures in which a group of friends race from one perilous situation to the next, falling in love or growing into themselves along the way.
“Force Awakens” will hit screens on December 18 in a multitude of formats, digital 3D, three different Imax 3D versions and regular digital 2D, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Andy Serkis (Supreme Lord Snoke) and Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux) portray the wrongdoers.
“We’re one of only 15 theatres in the world and the only theatre in Canada that’s going to be showing Star Wars on Imax film”, explained Ryan Holota, director of visitor services at the science centre.
Anticipation for “The Force Awakens” has been building steadily for months, with Disney unleashing a well-orchestrated advertising campaign of trailers and interviews with cast members that left fans wanting more.
“You could say it’s the themes, it’s the Force, it’s the lightsaber – there’s just something in this that touches people, and I don’t think you can summarize that”, 23-year-old Ridley, who plays a scavenger called Rey, told AFP. After all, “The Force Awakens” is directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, who has previous experience with franchise titles (“Star Trek” and “Mission: Impossible”).
And the story “The Force Awakens” could offer has him intrigued, he said, adding that he’s “excited to see what they’re going to do with the story”.

Now, I’m not trying to claim that knowing the lyrics to any (or all) Weird Al songs is any less nerdy than loving “Star Wars”.
