A Film of Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour Is Imminent
Once hater of Apple’s music streaming service, Taylor Swift has warmed to the Cupertino company and has revealed that she’ll be releasing her tour documentary exclusively on Apple Music. After publicly slamming the company for not paying royalties to artists during the three-month free trial period it offers for Apple Music, Swift subsequently praised the company for reversing that policy.
The 1989 singer celebrated her big day on December 13 at a Jimmy Iovine-hosted holiday party in Malibu alongside friends DJ Snake and Jamie Iovine (son of the Apple exec), and of course Swift’s DJ beau Calvin Harris.
“#1989WorldTourLIVE@applemusic“, Swift wrote Sunday on Twitter to her 67 million followers.
“Today I begin my 26th year of freaking out over stuff”, she captioned a photo of her younger self dressed in a Little Mermaid sweatshirt while carrying a backpack and making a very shocked face for the camera. Also, there will be a number of surprise guests who shared the stage with Taylor Swift during “The 1989 World Tour”.
Fans can tune into Beats 1 radio on Apple Music to hear more about the tour at 9 AM Pacific, 12 PM Eastern on the Apple Music exclusive radio station. There are also several other artists who joined her in front of 76,000 fans.
When her 1989 world tour concert video goes public on December 20, there will be only one place to watch it. And that place will be Apple Music.
“I wondered what it would look like if they were all lit up and dancing around like no one was watching”. It got more attention than I thought it would because Id been echoing those sentiments for years. “I hadn’t met Fetty Wap before but love him, so we’d reach out and go, “Here are the dates we have”. but then there were people like my friend Selena (Gomez) or Lorde or whatever – I’d just text them”. What’s more, Apple customers will not only be able to see a number of Taylor Swift performances.
