But thanks to the power of millennial begging, the beloved series returns with its Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Netflix revival series on Friday.

The upcoming “Gilmore Girls” revival will consist of four 90-minute installments titled “Winter”, “Spring”, “Summer” and “Fall”.

Because the triumphant return of Stars Hollow’s favorite mother-daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, just wouldn’t be the same without it. Rory became a journalist, but is now unemployed and living a “vagabond” lifestyle, according to Emily in the revival promo.

While many Netflix original series see initial release on the streaming network, it’s usually not long before they become available for purchase on the iTunes store. So is the character’s journalism career, and while Bledel is aware that her character’s love life intrigues viewers, she’d like them to consider the complete young woman. Rory teasingly asks her mom. While we are super excited to have our girls back, it’s easy to wonder what has changed with the actors in the years since the series aired it’s Season 7 finale.

Fans can now buy past seasons of Netflix’s flagship shows like House of Cards, Orange Is The New Black, and its biggest series revival yet, Arrested Development.
