A&M gives us a tour of the new Kyle Field

It was a big weekend for Texas A&M University as it unveiled its newly renovated football stadium. “There aren’t many places you can build a house in Texas in that period of time”, said John Sharp, Chancellor.

The Aggie Dog was created by the school’s Aggie Hospitality executive chef, David Picou, though it’s not the only new thing to nosh on at Kyle Field. Crews are putting finishing touches on the newly renovated Kyle Field. With the expansion comes a number of new amenities, including club and suite seating options.

COLLEGE STATION _ About 700 workers still were busy at Kyle Field Thursday, readying it for a three-day party to celebrate the stadium’s grand refurbishment. More women’s restrooms were also added to the stadium.

“This is done for all Aggies, current students, former students and future students”, said Sharp.

But the four-foot-long dog isn’t the only addition to the menu at the Aggies’ updated stadium, which will host Texas A&M’s home-opener against Ball State Saturday night.
