A new collector’s edition assembles all of EW’s Avengers: Infinity War coverage

With Infinity War bringing together the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – along with the first appearance of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Avengers films – different personalities and humor styles were bound to clash. I’ve been waxing lyrical about Insomniac’s upcoming Spider-Man game, but I think I may have forgotten about the other awesome wallcrawler who happened to make the world fall in love with the timeless comic book character all over again. This King Thanos recruits his past self to help kill the last living being in one final attempt to win over Death. Stuff happens, things explode, and the Guardians eventually use the Power Stone to defeat Thanos’s ally, Ronan the Accuser.

It’s become a running joke that the Marvel movie train has highly segmented cars where each member of the film works in isolation from the others so that nobody slips up and gives any morsel to the hungry fans that could be snapped up and spread throughout the internet. I also like that Russo said while they stick to the script for the first few takes, the actors are also allowed to improv, and I have always thought some of the best lines in film and TV are the product of improvisation, it makes the lines feel more natural.

I would put his chances of demise high, but not extraordinarily so.
