A pair of earthquakes rattle both Northern and Southern California
The quake struck at 11:39 p.m., with effects being felt as far as 150-miles away.

“The couch just started shaking and it scared the crap out of me”, Paquette said over the phone.

There are no reports of damage or injuries, and the National Tsunami Warning Center said the natural disaster was not expected to produce a tsunami.
There were no injuries or damage but power was for a time knocked out to some 4,500 homes in the region. Within less than an hour, the USGS had received more than 6,000 reports of shaking through the “Did You Feel It?” feature on its website.
Given the depth of Tuesday’s quake, he said it’s unlikely there would be any aftershocks, but if there were any, they would be light.
