Aaron Rodgers admits he has been playing hurt
Struggling against elite defenses in tough environments is one thing, but the hard outing at Lambeau Field against the Lions is definitely concerning for a once elite offense. To break out of it, they must defeat the division-leading Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium. The Vikings continued their win streak Sunday against the impressive Raiders. When it comes to the all-time series, the Packers also hold a 58-49-2 advantage over their divisional foes in 109 meetings.
Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is clearly a master motivator. After their week one loss to a 49ers team that was projected to be very bad, many had their questions. Obviously that doesn’t mean they’re definitely going to get the game in London…and, if they do, it might not necessarily even be against the Jaguars…but having a guaranteed road trip to Jacksonville automatically makes it a possibility.
He has carrier the football 83 times for 308 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers’ defense which is giving up the 10th most yards per game (371.6)?
For the first time this season, the Green Bay Packers have admitted that Aaron Rodgers is hurt – not enough to keep him out of Wednesday’s practice completely and nearly certainly not enough to prevent him from playing on Sunday at Minnesota – but at least enough to warrant a spot on the injury report.
The Lions were relegated Wednesday to signing a cornerback who had been out of a job since they cut him last June. “There’s a lot of pride in lacing it up every Sunday and knowing that it doesn’t matter what you’re dealing with, you’re going to play through it. We’ve all done it over the years”.
The Packers are hoping Rodgers will be all good when they take on the Vikings and try to snap the losing skid since it is his throwing shoulder that is injured. The wide receiver has been out for a month with the injury, but did return to practice.
There haven’t been many star running backs that have struggled quite as badly as Lacy has in recent history. They aren’t going to have an easy time this week as the Vikings’ defense is nearly up to full strength. We’ll take a hungry Vikings team at home, giving up to a field goal. Expect the Vikings to continue bringing pressure like the Packers’ three previous opponents did, and if Green Bay can not establish a running game, Rodgers might just attempt 50-60 passes.
