AC Milan interested in Real Madrid midfielder

A £30 million move for Real Madrid’s out of favour attacking midfielder Isco could be on the cards for Manchester City, according to reports from Spain.

The 23-year-old has been in and out of the Madrid first team since joining from Malaga, but would face similar competition for places in Manchester.

The Premier League giants, who defeated Watford 2-1 on Saturday to remain three points behind league leaders Arsenal, are readying a January move for the Real Madrid star during the mid-season transfer window.

Real Madrid are now sitting third in the La Liga table, but can take advantage of Barcelona’s slip up against Espanyol on Saturday.

Isco, 23, is said to have grown frustrated with a lack of game time at the Bernabeu.

With the burden often falling on David Silva to provide the creative spark, adding a player of Isco’s capabilities would be a huge boost for the club and an exciting addition for the fans.

The Spanish could join Manchester City this winter on a loan deal that would be made permanent next summer.
