ACB planning to file FIR against Sisodia, says Kejriwal
BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta even climbed the desk when Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal threatened to send Vijendra Gupta’s wife to jail in pension scam within one month if the government had ACB.
The meeting at Ramlila Maidan here, ostensibly in response to the two-day special session of the Delhi Assembly called by the AAP government to discuss alleged “corruption and mismanagement” in the three civic bodies, passed a censure motion against the Kejriwal government as the Congress walked out over the incident involving NDMC councillor Rakesh Kumar.
Taking a swipe at Modi, the chief minister wondered with what face he visited Western cities that are spotlessly clean when Delhi had become “a huge garbage dump”. BJP leaders objected to this, after which a fight broke out.
Blaming the mess on the BJP-controlled municipal corporations, he said there was foul smell in many parts of Delhi.
AAP legislator Saurabh Bhardwaj said the development was merely a “coincidence” and that different states keep going for elections at different times.
“The municipal corporation has become a black hole…”
“It had nothing to do with an AAP cap he was wearing”.
In his response, Kejriwal lashed out at Gupta and said his government was not in a position to investigate the issue, which was mentioned in a fact-finding report submitted by Delhi water minister Kapil Mishra, as the Centre had taken over the ACB using “paramilitary forces”. “They will all teach the BJP a lesson and destroy it. They will not tolerate castiesm which the BJP is resorting to”, Kejriwal said.
