Acclaimed Stealth Game République Coming To PlayStation 4

Rebublique first launched on mobile devices and was later ported to PC as Republique Remastered.

GungHo Online Entertainment has reported they’re porting each of the five scenes of Camouflaj’s activity enterprise stealth diversion, Republique, to the PlayStation 4.

GameSpot reports players will be able to take care of the main character Hope and exercise a bit more direct control over her in the game.

If you’ve played République, it’s mostly a point and click game so if the press release is any indication, Camouflaj may be expanding the game into a fully controllable stealth experience.

République is being developed by Seattle-based indie studio Camoflaj. When it looked as if that wouldn’t attract enough money to reach its goal, Camouflaj decided to also bring it to PC, helping the crowdfunding campaign to ultimately raise $555,000.

“Having been so inspired by early PlayStation titles, it’s with much joy and a touch of irony that the full Republique experience will arrive on PS4”, said Payton. However, the PS4 version of the game will be featuring the complete 5 episodes and will be available in the Playstation Store by the time of its launch.

Two more are planned and Puzzle & Dragons outfit GungHo has just announced that it will help with publishing duties.
