Ace Combat 7 announced, will be ‘exclusive to PlayStation VR’
The original hybrid flight simulation action video game, “Ace Combat”, was a very successful franchise by the Japanese company, Namco Bandai Games.
Boyes announced that they will be releasing the eight main installment in the Ace Combat series of games entitled “Ace Combat 7”, which will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 with full PlayStation VR support.
The 3D graphics of the skies and jets in combat looked superb.
Players can expect highly detailed cityscapes, aerial battles, ultra-modern super weapons, a campaign mode and online multiplayer battles.
All we know right now is that Ace Combat 7 is in development, exclusive to the PlayStation VR, and that the last entry in the 23-year-old dogfighting series was released in 2014 on the PS3, as Ace Combat Infinity.
“It’s no small feat for any video game franchise to thrive over two decades”, said Bandai Namco Europe’s VP of Marketing and Digital Herve Hoerdt. VRFocus will continue to follow Ace Combat 7, reporting back with the latest updates on the title. To find out more about ACE COMBAT 7, head over to http://www.acecombat.com.
