Acer Liquid Z6, Z6 Plus Smartphones Announced
The Iconia Talk S will be available in EMEA in September with prices starting at €169. Both devices run the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Acer’s embellishments on top, but there’s no word on whether they’ll get a release stateside. There is also a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and there will also be a fingerprint sensor for that added layer of security. You may not know but the new Iconia Talk S is not being introduced for the first time, few years back company came up with an idea that focused on tablet capable of supporting voice calls as well and they named such tablet as Iconica Talk S. this 2016 design incorporates some unbelievable design with newer internal hardware and it is definitely larger than the normal tablets which we have used mostly. Mediatek’s MT8735 is accompanied by 2 gigs of RAM, and there’s an option of 16 or 32 GB of expandable storage.
The Liquid Z6 series features an elegant 2.5D curved glass design with a metal back casing for the higher end version. Under the hood, there’s an octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz and backed by 3GB of RAM. It will be a dual SIM slate supporting 4G LTE support. The tablet has a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP camera on the front and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Acer’s Iconia Suite of apps. The Liquid Z6 will be available in EMEA in November with prices starting at Euro 119.
Liquid Z6 features only 8GB storage, a peculiar choice given that a lot of phones priced at under £200 are available with at least 16GB of base storage these days.
The device’s main selling point is definitely the 4,080mAh battery.
Acer Liquid Z6 features a 5-inch full HD display while the Z6 Plus comes with a larger 5.5-inch full HD screen.
