Actor Warwick Davis enlists Twitter to help find stolen caravan
The Harry Potter star garnered support from a number of his famous Twitter followers who urged the public to help track down the culprits.
The Star Wars and Harry Potter star posted a series of tweets appealing for the return of his mobile home after it was taken in Yaxley, Cambridgeshire, on Thursday night.
Cambridgeshire Police is investigating the theft.
Davis also tweeted that it was towed by a blue pick-up.
Following tip-offs from several local residents, he wrote, “Dear Twitter Friends…”
“Thanks for all your unbelievable support and help today re.my stolen caravan… you are all wonderful people! x”.
Davis has since received notification of sightings of his caravan on Twitter from a few of his eagle-eyed followers, including one who claims to have spotted the Swift heading towards Farcet in Huntingdonshire.
Davis is also appearing in the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.
Writing on Twitter, Davis asked directly to the wrongdoer saying: “If a person shawl our caravan or know that did, please are we able to provide the corny materials back that may ineffective to a person?”
