Actress Emily Blunt “Should Deport Herself” — Breitbart News
Her comments came during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter while promoting her new film, Sicario.
Bad news for fans clamoring for her to take on the role here’s what she has to say about it. “No, I have not heard anything about ‘Captain Marvel.'” said Blunt on a recent interview. “She has alienated half the country, and now we’ll think twice about going to one of her movies”, Doocy said on Tuesday. And it was kind of a special day, yeah. During her sit-down with Kimmel she said being an American was “strange and slightly disarming”, adding that she was not “entirely thrilled about it”.
If Blunt dislikes America, this will clearly be news to her. She celebrated her USA citizenship by dressing up as the Statue of Liberty in this Ellen clip.
Blunt also took a mock “real citizenship test” on the chatshow, in which she was asked what the giant refillable sodas at 7-11 were called and what the acronym Major League Baseball stood for.
In Sicario – which means hitman in Spanish – Blunt plays an ambitious FBI agent who is drawn into the shadowy world of the US-Mexican drug wars.
Some Americans did not see this as a particularly nice comment to make after the country granted Blunt a passport.
Do YOU forgive Emily for saying she regrets “becoming American“?
Prior to her televised apology, Blunt was told to leave the USA by the anchor team on Fox & Friends. “So I think that’s why the rumors happen”, she told Indiewire.
“People asked me about the whole day”.
Blunt married husband John Krasinski in July 2010 in Italy. “You know what, then why don’t you leave Hollywood, California”, Kooiman said.
Blunt has since gone on TV to apologise for her off-the-cuff remark.
“I think Elizabeth Warren is pretty impressive”, she said of the Massachusetts senator, who has ruled out a 2016 Oval Office bid.
