Actress Eva Longoria Was An “Annoying” Student In Her School Days!
Eva Longoria is indeed a true beauty with brains. The 39-year-old actress completed a master’s degree in political science in May 2013. Eva Longoria revealed that she annoyed her classmates at California State University with her persistent quest for further knowledge. She would raise her hand all the time and ask questions.
Longoria took up politics as a subject to understand the history and complications behind the much debated immigration in the US. She believes that through education one can be a part of the solution. Armed with a degree in political science, the actress has no plans to join active politics. She feels that as a citizen one could do much more than a politician. She says, “From woman’s right to vote, to the civil rights movement and freedom of slaves – all of that came from the people themselves. It wasn’t a politician, it was a movement of people that created that change.”
The Desperate Housewives star divorced the NBA player Tony Parker, her husband of 4 years. She is reportedly dating Jose “Pepe” Antonio Baston, a 45-year-old businessman.
Longoria, now an actress, producer and restaurateur, revealed that she has always been “the chameleon” since her high school days. She got along with the honors math club, would go to cheerleading practice, and then was also a band geek.
The actress has been behind the cameras lately directing and executive producing the Lifetime TV series Devious Maids. Eva is also one of the executive producers of the documentary Food Chain, which was previewed at the Tribeca Film Festival and 64th Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year. Eva Longoria showcased her first film production that is a story about poverty-driven foreign workers and their poor working conditions in the US agricultural industry.
