Actress Stacey Dash calls for elimination of Black History Month and BET
Later in the same broadcast, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was asked about the controversy over this year’s completely white Academy Awards field of acting nominees, and Trump revealed that Dash had torn the scales from his eyes.
The GOP front-runner went on to praise an earlier interview with Fox News contributor and actress Stacey Dash, who proposed abolishing networks like Black Entertainment Television in the name of equality. But like I said, over the past eight years, we’ve had a president who is black, who gets his funding mainly from Hollywood, the elite liberals.
The conservative, who rose to prominence in Nineties film Clueless called plans by black actors to boycott the Oscars “ludicrous” and said it was a “double standard”. “Without Black History Month, would Stacey Dash be able to troll her way to a monthly Fox paycheck?”
“We’re Americans. Period. That’s it”, she said.
Dash then added this doozy: “There shouldn’t be a Black History Month”. She previously written a post last October about her stance. Until there is a “White History Month”, Dash said, black people don’t need their own. Cops said they saw him leaning on his vehicle while it was pulled over, and then failed a field sobriety test and admitted drinking.
Doocy: “So you say there shouldn’t be a BET channel?”
Reporting on Stacey Dash’s foot-in-mouth gaffes is becoming all to common and extremely infuriating. Yet there are not very many roles for people of colour’.
“Here is what I believe, the Academy has the right to acknowledge whomever they choose, to invite whomever they choose and now, I think that it is our responsibility now, to make the change”.
Of course, this is not the first time Stacey Dash has made controversial statements about African-American culture.
Fox News did not immediately reply with comment for this story. “Why is that just now being address?”
“It’s unclear how exactly President Obama has any control over the Academy”.
