Ad fraud prompts app suspension
Google has been known, in most parts, a developer-friendly company.
Google has removed from its Android app store a cell phone application built by Hamas.
Apps are limited to 25MB of backup data and are synced to a user’s Google Account. The researchers behind this fraud investigation say that the best way to prevent these apps from using up all of your RAM, is to not use apps that you aren’t sure if they are going online or not. From adding search ads to Google Play, to improving Android conversion tracking and simplifying campaign management with Universal App Campaigns, we hope these new tools will bring even more success to our app developer community.

Yesterday, Google announced in a blog post that it is rolling out search ads on Google Play Store, after beta-launching it for a few customers, earlier this year. But it is expected that the search giant will expand it globally for everyone soon. People are usually unhappy when an app has too many ads for their liking. The simplified campaign type will enable app marketers to promote their apps across Google properties, including Google Play, search, YouTube, AdMob’s app network and sites on the Google Display Network.
