Adama Traore Deal Sought, Latest Reds Rumours
Liverpool have sent club officials to travel to Barcelona to negotiate a deal to sign winger Adama Traore. The Spain youth global will move to Anfield on an initial season-long loan deal, with a permanent switch set to be agreed next summer.
Various clubs across Europe are keen on the 19-year-old Barcelona B winger after his side suffered relegation from the Segunda Division into the third division at the end of the 2014/15 season. The Red Devils have seemingly cooled their interest in the Spaniard thus leaving the door open for Liverpool to swoop in and snap him up.
Therefore, if Barcelona rate Traore highly enough or are not satisfied with whatever Liverpool offer, especially if it is short of his release clause, then they still have the influence to promise the Mali global more playing time to convince him to stay and ignore the advances of the Merseyside outfit.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has already made significant moves in the transfer market this summer.
Traore would likely start life at Liverpool with our Under-21 side, but would surely be looking to follow the likes of Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe into the first-team in the near future.
