Adele 25 Album Leaks, Will Not Be Available For Streaming
Taylor Swift made huge news previously as she caused a major row when she lashed out against Spotify for supposedly ripping off artists and refused to make her album available to the service. Spotify, too, was placed on the chopping block. However, the reports then indicated that the award winning singer’s new album may be on limited release to premium Spotify users.
Adele has thanked her fans after “a whirlwind month”.
Katie, 33, a former packer at the Golden Wonder crisp factory, has been performing as Adele for the last four years since she turned professional singer in 2007. Billboard thinks “25” will sell 2.5m copies in the USA alone this week, while Amazon United Kingdom says the album is its most pre-ordered ever.
The hit single “Hello” producer’s album “25” is a follow up of her hit album “21”, which proved to be a blockbuster.

It would appear as though many top singers are shying away from the online streaming scene.
However, a few critics also pointed out that Adele’s new music has nothing new to offer and sticks to a tried and tested formula centered on piano ballads and churchy hymns, Chicago Tribune reported.
Swift’s move last November set off a debate within the music industry concerning streaming music services and artist compensation. Now it’s official that Adele’s “25” will not be found on these services. “And at the same time, it’s concerning that there aren’t many more things of that quality”, Apple Music executive Jimmy Iovine said in an interview.
Four years since 21, and three years since Skyfall, Adele finally unveiled her third album today, 25. “We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy 25 on Spotify alongside 19 and21 very soon”, the company said in a statement, according to The NY Times.
Though unavailable for streaming from Apple, the company is not completely at a loss.
It is available digitally; you can purchase downloads of the individual songs or the entire album on sites like iTunes.
For those who were able to get their hands on a hard copy (one person in our office asked what would he play a CD on?), there’s been a general consensus that the album is pretty good.
