Adele ’25’ Album Sales Projected to Break a few Major Records
As Adele’s much-anticipated album titled “25” was hitting the shelves of music stores across the globe on Friday, music streaming companies are initially missing out on the blockbuster success the British singer is sure to generate. Back in 2011, everyone thought that her second album 21 would be her last, as the singer expressed that she was considering quitting music, since it’s better to “go out on a high”.
“I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I did that.’ It seems so ungrateful…. That made me kind of happy”.
“Leaving him when he would rather be with me is hard”. Her confidence, her slow nanny voice, her walk…she clearly had fun with this.
Beyonce withheld her last album, Beyonce, from streaming for almost a year after releasing it in late 2013.
Although she was still belting out songs about heartbreak and love, the subject matter seemed more honest and mature.
Despite the fact that Adele is young-she’s 27, and part of the generation who has always expected to get music for free, whether via illegal downloads or streaming-her audience seemingly covers all ages.
The album is predicted to sell more than one million copies in its first week.
“There’s a rumour going round that I turned Beyoncé down”. What’s interesting with Adele, she’s mastered this thing of being hip enough for NME and Hot Press, she’ll also do the Sunday supplements and the womens’ magazines. She stated, “I have to take time and live a little bit. There were a good two years between my first and second albums, so it’ll be the same this time.” . However, Adele had been adamant in her stance that appearances do not affect her music.
Deezer North America chief executive, Tyler Goldman said the company would not pitch Adele’s “25” album at launch. He said: “It’s a great record, I just had a listen”.
She explained: “Even the time making the record, the guilt”. Her grand entrance reveals she’s been given a prosthetic nose and chin – “I’ve got bum chins”, she quips – and she gives her infamous accent an overhaul.
With the help of a few bizarre-looking prosthetics, Adele transformed herself into “Jenny”, a soft-spoken nanny who moonlights as an Adele impersonator.
