Adele Admits She’s Banned From Her Own Twitter Account For Drunk-Tweeting
In her interview with the talk show host the 27-year-old explained that she considered whether or not to make a return to music after a lengthy hiatus following the release of her second studio album, 21.
Adele replies: “This is true”.
It will be Adele‘s first TV performance for three years, since she sang Skyfall at the Oscars in February 2013, where she won Best Original Song for the theme tune to the James Bond film.
Interestingly enough, Adele does not have any TV performances lined up before her album drops on November 20, and we now know that Adele’s BBC special, simply titled “Adele at the BBC” will air on the same day her album drops.
One of which is “Is it true you’re not allowed to use your own Twitter”, to which Adele tells everyone it is true due to some drunk tweeting a few years back. Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so I could do it properly.
“I can’t do anything else, this is all that I like doing”.
The album 25 is Adele’s third and is expected to replicate the success of her previous ones 19 and 21, which alone sold more than 30 million globally.
Adele said: “I can’t wait for the show”.
“The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it’s going to be a laugh”.
She is truly one of us – although when we drunk tweet, we don’t run the risk of millions of people seeing it and our record deals getting cancelled.
Meanwhile, Adele has continued to smash records with the epic comeback single, selling more than 1.1million digital songs in the first week and becoming the first song ever to break the 1million download mark on the Billboard charts.
The clip also gives an insight into Graham’s interview with Adele. Not to mention, she will be performing Hello for the very first time.
Adele At The BBC will be broadcast on BBC One on Friday November 20 at 8.30pm.
