Adele announced as ‘Saturday Night Live’ musical guest

The last time McConaughey hosted was in 2003, when he was known mostly for doing roles as the good-looking guy in romantic comedies. Adele’s returning to Saturday Night Live!

While Adele is now dominating the music charts, it looks like she’s about to kill it on television as well.

The musical guest on McConaughey’s episode will be Adele, and she’ll probably sing two songs that are powerful-yet-sad or dramatic-yet-uplifting.

The national US TV appearance comes the day after the United Kingdom pop singing sensation releases “25” on November 20.

Splitsider reports that the last time the Dallas Buyers Club star hosted the legendary sketch show was back in 2003.

Hello, Adele, SNL was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet? Produced by Greg Kurstin, the follow-up to 2011’s smash “21” is being previewed with the lead single, “Hello”. She previously appeared on the show during its 24th season. Other upcoming musical guests include Sia on November 7 and Disclosure with Lorde and Sam Smith on November 14. Hopefully there will be a few… with The X Factor’s live shows kicking off on Saturday evening, she could very well appear on the results show.
