Adele confirms she’s going on tour
She may have just announced that she’s starting her new tour in Belfast – but we can’t imagine chart topper Adele was expecting this.
Up until now, Adele has been super coy about whether or not she’d tour behind her record-breaking new album, 25.
But don’t worry, USA fans: We’re sure a North American tour isn’t far behind – and at the very least, we’ll have plenty of bootleg concert clips to cozy up with. The Hello singer will perform 36 shows in support of her third album 25, which has become the fastest-selling release of 2015.
She’ll play the SSE Arena on February 29th and March 1st, followed by two nights at the 3Arena in Dublin on 4th and 5th.
“Hello, it’s me, Adele”, she begins in the video, before laughing about how similar she sounded to her new mega hit Hello.
A disclaimer on the star’s website notes that resale of tickets will “not be tolerated”.
Talking on BBC Radio 1 with Nick Grimshaw, she said: “There is something quite lonely about going on stage in front of loads of people and then everyone going home. I would love to tour, I really would”.
Fans who subscribe to her website will get first dibs on tickets beginning on December 1.
