It’s now the new year, which means thousands of people are flocking to the gym to kick off their 2016 resolutions to get fit the right way.

Adele has proved she is no different to the rest of us who are spending the first week of the year detoxing and exercising.

The 27-year-old singer will be hitting the road for 10 months when her tour kicks off in February, and is working hard to ensure she has the stamina for the job in hand.

Adele captioned the black and white pic with “getting ready” which mostly likely relates to her upcoming tour of Europe and North America.

The soulful singer suffered a vocal haemorrhage in 2011, prompting her to take action and prevent any future damage to her voice.

She revealed recently that her thinner frame is down to a strict diet and “f***ing boring” gym sessions.
