Adele disguises herself as an Adele impersonator to surprise fans

On Friday (November 20) the “Hello” singer had an album premiere concert at iHeartRadio in NY City, and she performed her latest single, and also “Million Years Ago”, “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” from her album 25, and the well known “Someone Like You”, followed by a Q&A.

In a new video from the BBC, Adele goes hilariously undercover as Jenny, a nanny by day and Adele impersonator hopeful by night.

“You look so not like yourself”, said UK TV host Graham Norton, who put the singer up to the prank, as Adele revealed her faux look to him beforehand.

Adele talked with the impersonators, as they each took the stage to audition for the part.

At one point before she sings, “Jenny” has to step outside, because of nerves.

Before she took the stage, Adele even chatted with a group of clueless impersonators who had no idea who they were talking to.

Adele purposefully messed up her first try of the song as to not give herself away too soon.

Forbes argues that “25” is “much more than” just an album.
