Adele on Grammy performance ‘disaster’: ‘I cried pretty much all day’

“OK. I’ll have a large, but can I have it in a small cup?” she says.

“I cried pretty much all day yesterday”: Adele confessed to Ellen DeGeneres that she was devastated over what happened.

Honestly, the employees had to have known that something was up, but even so, this bit really isn’t about Jamba Juice workers-it’s about Adele.

When they refused, she took a swig straight from the bottle and quipped: “I have the shakes. I haven’t had a drink in hours”.

She then pulled out a bottle of amaretto and asked if the employees could add it to her smoothie.

Adele is nothing if not an impressive vocalist, so hearing her off her game was a surprise. “I’m a celebrity. Do I have to pay?” she asks the employee, according to People.

Bewilderment strikes again when Adele uses scissors to cut wheatgrass from behind the counter and begins chomping on the (probably incredibly unappetizing) plant right there.

Speaking about still getting stage fright, she admitted: “I don’t think it could go that much worse than the Grammys so I’m alright now”.

She also recorded a pretty epic voicemail for Ellen, which we need on iTunes like ASAP.

She also talked about the aftermath of the performance, which she said left her “so embarrassed”. She’s wonderful at anything she is asked to do.

Once the order was completed and it was time for payment, Adele dumped the contents of her bag on the counter in the hopes of finding her money to make her payment for her juice.

Adele and DeGeneres put together a hilarious prank on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

“With my manager’s approval, maybe you could get it free”, the cashier who has been a good sport from the start, responds.

“How do I pay for this?” They laughed and looked relieved when she finally broke the news to them that Ellen DeGeneres had sent her there and was behind the prank. Adele was excited for the end of the prank as she was able to remove the remaining wheat grass from her mouth, she was not pleased with the taste. See the full video on EllenTube.
