Adele performs ‘Hello’ at France’s NRJ Music Awards
Adele graced the world with the first full-length, live performance of “Hello” on Saturday night, and it did not disappoint. After all, the sweeping comeback single off Adele’s forthcoming 25 album has literally broken a plethora of records since premiering back in October. The year’s most streamed song in a single week prior to this was Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean?’ with 3.87m streams.
On Friday, a clip of Adele’s first live performance since the 2013 Oscars – part of a new BBC special – was released online. Whilst the performance didn’t start off all that well – it seemed Adele was off key slightly, and a few of the notes seemed a little flat – she got into her stride toward the middle of the performance, especially after the first verse and chorus.
The 27-year-old singer was in town to perform at the NRJ Awards in France on November 7, where she treated an unsuspecting crowd to a rousing, powerful performance of her hit single, “Hello”.
The singer looked stunning in a gorgeous black dress for the awards show. Excuse us while we bow down to the queen of music!
