Adorable elderly couple celebrates anniversary by performing piano duet from
An elderly couple’s musical rendition of the Disney movie “Up” is tugging at the Internet’s heartstrings.
He coordinated the video to help them celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, and clearly the video was so lovingly done.
The Centerville couple has been married for 60 years, and they have been playing piano duets together since they first got married, according to their grandson and well-known local YouTuber, Jason Lyle Black, aka “Backwards Piano Man”. There’s an adventure book, a cane decked out in tennis balls, and even a dog reacting to “Squirrel!”
Black told Inside Edition that his grandparents always loved music and would often play duets together. Most of all, the feeling of loyalty between Grandpa and Grandma is evident throughout the entire video.
“The night we posted the video, we had the whole family together, and we had grandma’s cookies”, he said.
-My grandparents are very involved in family history.
The viral video has already been viewed more than 300,000 times on YouTube, complete with comments wishing the pair a happy anniversary.
Black had previously created a hit YouTube homage to the movie “Frozen, ” and when thinking of doing a video about an older couple who had lived a life of married love and dedication, he didn’t have to look far. “It was so fun to work with them on it… This will be a family treasure for all of us”.
