Advanced Warfare’s Reckoning DLC Coming Soon
It’s now available across all platforms, i.e. PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, worldwide, until tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28, at 9am PST. The new maps also support Advanced Warfare’s “Exo Grapple” playlist, which means players get to zip around the virtual spaces using a grappling hook. We last left our team of survivors (played by Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, Jon Bernthal and Bruce Campbell) on the Atlas aircraft carrier.
Activision’s latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, has been one of the most successful iterations in the history of the series. Meanwhile, “Quarantine” takes place under the shadow of the Statue of Liberty and Overload features giant plasma lamps that can be shot to cause damage to others. This medium sized map’s tight corners dial up the speed and open areas combine to allow for any style of gameplay. To combat these new threats, players will have access to some new gear, including a new gun that fires a ricocheting laser beam, and access to a Goliath suit for the first time in Exo Zombies. Activate the map-based scorestreak to unleash a devastating ship-fired missile strike.
Fracture: Close-combat hidden within an arctic excavation area. Stay alert as the timed event cracks the ice sheet, sending one lane sinking to the depths.
Swarm: South Korean map with congested narrow corridors.
Speaking of new gear, the footage of the multiplayer maps seemed to show new weapons for the multiplayer as well, or at least new ways to trick out weapons with additional customization options. The Reckoning DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass*, featuring all four DLC Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle offered at a suggested retail price of $49.99 – a discount of $10 off the individual purchase of all four DLC Map Packs**.
